A group of comically proportioned pigeon statues on Edinburgh's Elm Row. The pigeons are very orbular and officious looking, with a lifelike impression of strutting motion. The statues are designed by Shona Kinloch, photo taken by C. K. Pidgeon

Wayfarer

a queer fantasy novel coming some time this decade.
more soon!

A watercolour painted view of the fictional city of Beg Ar Rest from above, showing its harbour, the Prodigy Pillar on top of its central hill, and the Sundering Cliffs beyond. Art by C. K. Pidgeon.

A woman dressed in a black 16th century kirtle, framed by a stone archway with wrought iron gates; she is holding a longbow. The overall effect is vaguely menacing, like she might decide to shoot an arrow in someone's face.

Stance on AI

Bad. It's bad. I fucking hate it and everything it represents. I refuse to use it in any way. GTFO with that shit. Also I am reclaiming the sparkle emoji on behalf of the sarcastic bitch community ✨
None of my work will ever have generative AI involved in its creation. I will always refuse to work with collaborators who use it in their own work as far as I can ascertain.
That being said please think very carefully before making accusations of AI use against an artist or writer. False claims can really fuck up someone's career.
